Police: 2 kids found in house with 'large amount' of drugs

MARION, Ind. -- Two people were arrested in Marion, Indiana after drugs were found in a house with two children present, police said.

The Marion Police Department's Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant early Wednesday morning at a house in the 1300 block of W. Spencer Ave. in Marion, Indiana. A large amount of drugs were found, Marion Police Department Detective Sergeant Josh Zigler said. 

James Montez Johnson, 36, and Maxie Bruton, 30 were arrested.

Johnson faces charges of dealing methamphetamine.

Bruton faces charges of dealing a narcotic, maintaining a common nuisance, and two counts of neglect of a dependent.

More charges are expected, Zigler said.
