INDIANAPOLIS -- An elderly man exposed himself inside a shoe store at Castleton Square Mall Monday afternoon, police say.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the Skechers store inside the Castleton Square Mall at around 4 p.m.

They spoke with an employee, who said an older white man entered the store with his genitals exposed. He then requested two pairs of shoes, while holding one pair near his genitals.

The employee said she was unsure if the man knew he was exposed, so she didn't say anything about it. She said he left the store just like he came in and walked through the mall.

Mall security followed him outside, where he entered a black vehicle. Security lost sight of him at Best Buy, police say.

The suspect is estimated to be about 80 years old, between 130-150 pounds and about 5-foot-9-inches tall.
