MADISON COUNTY, Ind. -- A 19-year-old student in Frankton-Lapel Community School district was arrested Thursday following a report of threats.

Madison County sheriff's deputies say the student, who attends the district's alternative school, made a comment to another student regarding having access to guns and plans to shoot up the school.

Deputies say Francisco Martinez-Hernandez admitted to them that he made those statements.

Martinez-Hernandez was arrested and has been preliminarily charged with felony intimidation.

He's currently being held in the Madison County Detention Center.

Deputies found no weapons at Martinez-Hernandez's home in Anderson.
